Lebanese Beef Sliders over Baked White Sweet Potato

All I'm saying is that if you don't try this recipe then you will never know what heaven tastes like.

Beef Sliders
  • 1 pound of organic grass fed/finished beef
  • 1 cup of chopped parsley
  • 6-8 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons of allspice
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 cup of shallot finely minced
  • For the Sweet Potato Bun
  • 1 medium sized white yam
  • butter
  • salt
Directions

Chop up your herbs and combine in a large bowl with your spices.

Next add in your meat and egg and gently mix together.

Set the grill to high heat. Once it gets hot, turn it down to medium heat and grease the grill. Fill 1/3 cup with the meat mixture, roll into a ball and flatten. Let cook for 3-5 minutes until the edges turn from raw red to cooked.

Flip and do the same on the other side. For the sweet potatoes, peel and cut up into 1/2 inch discs. Drizzle enough warmed butter over them so they are coated on both sides. Bake in the oven at 350 for 30 minutes or until edges become golden brown. Garnish with avocado, tomato, and basil.

Pairs deliciously well with my Roasted Portobello Mushroom recipe.
